July 4th

We took Mikey to fireworks. (I know I'm a terrible mother breaking Mikey's bedtime scheduled routine, but you have to start traditions sometimes I figured it may as well be now.)

I held his ears and he watched the explosions in awe and in total confusion. We tried to get a picture but he kept looking at me with a face that said "Mom, why am I not in my bed and what is this?"
I know it looks funny but the next one is him looking up at the fireworks. They were really loud and I didn't really think of ear covers until we were there so a blanket and hands had to do.
